Motorola Launches Moto G Play (2026) Android Smartphone, Budget-Focused
Motorola has launched the Moto G Play (2026), a new entry-level smartphone that acts as an economical alternative to the standard Moto G (2026). It comes with a 120Hz display, big battery, and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor.
Moto G Play (2026)-Core Specifications
The phone is set up on basic hardware to keep the cost low. Here is a list of its highlights:
- Performance: It runs on MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is a virtual RAM boost adding up to an additional 8GB memory.
- Storage Expansion: The microSD card slot allows storage expansion up to 1TB.
- Display: On the front is a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
- Camera: An 8MP selfie camera could be located at the center in a hole-punch cutout. The single 32MP sensors comprise the rear camera system.
- Battery and Charging: With a massive 5200mAh battery that supports 18W charging-as against 30W charging on the non-Play model.
- Others: Other specifications include dual SIM support, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance, and Android 16 pre-installed.
Price and Availability
The Moto G Play (2026) will be priced at $169-a full $30 less than the standard Moto G (2026).
Sales from carriers and retailers will begin on November 13, 2025.
