The Game Awards announces Amazon Prime Video as their next streaming partner

The Game Awards is widening its viewing options for the forthcoming show. Event creator Geoff Keighley announced that Amazon Prime Video will be an extra global distribution partner for the live show on December 11.

This makes it the first time in history that the annual awards show will stream live on Prime Video. The partnership allows the show to be broadcast via the streaming service in 200 countries and territories, vastly increasing its international coverage.

Existing Streaming Platforms Remain Unchanged

While Prime Video is new, viewers are still welcome to watch The Game Awards on all of its traditional platforms. The announcement made clear that the show will continue to air simultaneously in over 30 global platforms.
