Colorful Motherboard Series iGame X870E VULCAN OC V14
Colorful Motherboard Series iGame X870E VULCAN OC V14 is the company's premier motherboard on the AMD X870E chipset. The motherboard is designed for the enthusiast systems segment as an ATX board and supports AMD's Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors. Combining a unique aesthetic with a robust feature set, it is targeted toward enthusiasts and overclockers.
Core Features and Aesthetics
The iGame motherboard series sees the iGame X870E VULCAN OC V14 adorned with a custom "Cyber God" cooling armor; the full-condensing plate dissipates heat. A major visual flair is presented by the iGame smart screen, allowing personalization exposure.
Power and Memory
To ensure a stable experience, the motherboard comprises an 18+2+2 phase enhanced power supply design utilizing 110A Dr MOS components. The board features a total of two DDR5 RAM slots, supporting a maximum of 128 GB due to overclocking speed:
- For the Ryzen 8000 series, it should be above DDR5-10000+ MT/s (OC).
- For the Ryzen 9000 series, it should be above DDR5-8600+ MT/s (OC).
- For the Ryzen 7000 series, it should be above DDR5-8000+ MT/s (OC).
The board also supports Intel XMP and AMD EXPO memory profiles.
Storage & Expansion
Storage options are generous: five total M.2 slots and four SATA 6Gb/s ports. The M.2 setup is:
- Three PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots (CPU lanes)
- Two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots (chipset lanes)
For graphics and other boards, it hosts one primary PCIe 5.0 x16 and one secondary PCIe 4.0 x4.
Note: When utilizing the second or the third M.2 slot, the primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot operates in x8 mode. The PCIe 5.0 support depends on the CPU installed.
Connectivity
With modern high-speed connectivity standards, this motherboard is ready to roll. The rear I/O panel includes:
- Two USB4 40Gbps Type-C ports (support for 4K 60Hz video output)
- Four USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps Type-A ports
- Four USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps Type-A ports
For the front panel, there is a header for a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 20Gbps Type-C port that supports 60W Power Delivery (PD3.0). Networking features are powered by a Realtek 5G wired Ethernet card and a WiFi 7 wireless card with Bluetooth 5.4 wireless support.
Features for the Enthusiasts
Engineered for heavy overclocking and user-friendly operation, the rear I/O panel features the usual buttons for BIOS flashback and clearing the CMOS with a single touch. The board also encompasses numerous onboard buttons, including but not limited to power, restart, retry, BLCK adjustment, and LN2 mode and slow mode control for the more advanced user.
Light control is handled via the iGame Center software that syncs effects between the motherboard, fans, and memory.
