LG Announces Artful Gallery TVs with Retractable Frames

LG has made known its newest Gallery TV product line. The impressive characteristic of these televisions is an extraordinarily designed case with interchangeable frames to make it look like it is in display mode all the time, standing as a modern art piece.

Initial Models and Design characteristics

The first models from the new series comprise 55-inch and 65-inch displays that utilize mini-LED screen display technology. According to LG, the screens are treated with an exclusive anti-glare coating meant to make the image quality on the screen seem like that of an analog image.

  • Frame Setup: All TVs come with a standard white frame.
  • Customization: Swap the standard frame for an optional wood-effect frame for a different aesthetic.

LG Gallery+ Content Service

TVs will come with LG Gallery+, an online service created in the firmware. The platform provides access to digital content collections, including:

  • Reproductions of paintings from eminent artists.
  • Other photographs, game scenes, and stills from various films.

Some content in the gallery will be free, while subscription will be needed for the entire library.

Availability and Further Information

LG will showcase all detailed specifications and pricing concerning the new Gallery TVs during CES 2026, which runs from January 6 to 9.
