Asus Global Launches ROG Strix Pulsar XG27AQNGV Gaming Monitor
Post CES 2026 announcement, the Rog Strix Pulsar XG27AQNGV gaming monitor is now being globally launched by Asus. These monitors are among the first to benefit from Nvidia's G-Sync Pulsar technology and are currently available for pre-order and purchase across Europe, the US, and the UK.
G-Sync Pulsar Technology
While the core offering of the ROG Strix XG27AQNGV remains similar to its previous entries of 27-inch gaming monitors, G-Sync Pulsar validated itself as one distinguishing feature. Variable backlight strobing is combined with the variable refresh rate (VRR) of G-Sync in its working principle. It provides, according to Asus and Nvidia, a very visible improvement in motion clarity so that upon perception, such monitors achieve close to an "effective" refresh rate of 1,000 Hz.

Apart from the introduction of G-Sync Pulse, which differentiates the XG27AQNGV from its former gaming monitor 27-inches, the actual core is similar to other 27-inches of gaming monitors. Basic hardware specifications of the monitor are:
