Under the Day One Keynote of CES 2026, an entire series of devices were unveiled, including a prototype of a rollable gaming laptop actively working, and latest editions of the popular Legion 5 and Legion 7 gaming laptops, updated with the latest processors from AMD and Intel.

Lenovo presented an active prototype of the Legion Pro Rollable, a device that changes its shape from standard 16-inch laptop form to 21.5 or even 24-inch display with a press of a button. Two internal motors push out the OLED screen that wraps around an expanding mechanism.

  • Display: Transforms from a 16-inch to a 24-inch OLED
  • Performance: Concept with Intel Core Ultra processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU
  • Design Notes: Concept is operational, with light wrinkles mark on the display while it glides over the internal mechanism.

Alongside the Legion Pro Rollable, Lenovo also showed off a ThinkPad Rollable XD concept. Both devices are in the concept stage, and their possible release into the market is not guaranteed.

  • Display: Both models employ a 15.3-inch OLED panel with 2560x1600 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, with 1ms response time and 100% DCI-P3 coverage.
  • Memory & Storage: Up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage.
  • Battery: 80Wh battery on both versions.

Lenovo Legion 5a (15, Gen 11)

  • Processor: With the latest AMD Ryzen AI 400 series up to a Ryzen AI 9 465 APU.
  • Graphics: Configurable with NVIDIA RTX 5060 laptop GPU at most.
  • Ports: Two USB4 ports, three USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 ethernet port.

Lenovo Legion 5i (15, Gen 11)

  • Processor: Panther Lake series of Intel, up to Core Ultra 9 386H CPU.
  • Graphics: Also configurable with NVIDIA RTX 5060 laptop GPU at most.
  • Ports: The Intel model includes one Thunderbolt 4 port and one USB-C (with DisplayPort and Power Delivery), plus standard I/O.

  • Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 5060 laptop GPU, max 125W TDP.
  • Memory & Storage: Up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory and 2 TB of storage.
  • Display: Up to 16 inches OLED panel, with a resolution of 2560 x 1600, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and support for NVIDIA G-Sync.
  • Battery: Caulfield by an 84Wh battery.
  • Ports: Two USB 4.0 ports, two Type-A ports, an SD card reader, and an HDMI jack.

Pricing and Availability

The Legion laptops in stores for consumers are expected to be available in April 2026.
