Lenovo has now announced a new launch- it's the handheld 2nd-generation Legion Go gaming console. The handheld is designed to run the Steam-based complete version, as stated by the company, to facilitate the development of the console experience through the Steam ecosystem.

All specifications regarding this model will be the same as the original Windows version, thus leaving the original model unchanged.

  • Display: 8.8-inch OLED with 500 nits brightness and a 144 Hz refresh rate.
  • Processor: Eight-core AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme.
  • Memory: Up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8000.
  • Storage: Up to a 2 TB Gen4 SSD.
  • Battery: 74 Wh with support for 65W charging via USB Type-C.

SteamOS Integration and User Experience

This new modification will come with the full functionality of SteamOS as a factor easy for accessibility into a user's Steam library. Integrated features such as Family Sharing, Remote Play, and file transfers over a local area network should allow for smooth usage.

Lenovo Legion Go with SteamOS will be the price opening at $1199 for shipping to begin around June 2026.
