NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar Monitors Launch to Enhance Motion Clarity
The first of NVIDIA's G-Sync Pulsar monitor technology, first revealed two years ago, is getting a retail release. The monitors, using custom scalars from Mediatek for lower prices, are meant to enhance motion clarity in VRR gaming.
G-Sync Pulsar Technology and Advantages
At the core of Pulsar is the ability to bring more than 1000Hz of perceived motion clarity without the compromise of stuttering VRR. This, on top of an incredibly smooth on-screen motion to the eye when juxtaposed with normal displays.
Also being introduced with the G-Sync Pulsar is the Ambient Adaptive technology, allowing the monitor to automatically adjust brightness and color in response to ambient light climates. For example, brightness in a bright room can ramp up to 100% with cool white colors, while in a dark room, brightness can lower to 36% with warmer colors.
