ASRock NUC Ultra Box 300 series power and performance
The NUC Ultra Box 300 from ASRock is really powerful for how small it's. People who like Mini PCs have been waiting to learn more about this thing. The NUC Ultra Box 300 series is finally out after ASRock showed it off at CES 2026. These machines are way better than your office computer because they have Intel "Panther Lake" technology and good graphics that give you great performance in a device that fits in your hand.
The Intel Core Ultra 300 series is the part of the new products. ASRock has four models that are different because of how powerful they are.
There are high end models called the 358H models. These use the Core Ultra 7 X358H CPU. You get 16 cores, which includes 4 cores for performance 8 cores for efficiency and 4 cores that use power.
Then there are range models called the 325 models. These use the Core Ultra 5 325 CPU, which has 8 cores and is good for tasks.
The graphics are good enough to play games. The graphics card is a deal here. The Core Ultra 7 models have the Arc B390 graphics card, which has 12 Xe3 cores. When we tested it it performed well almost as good as an RTX 4050 laptop graphics card. This is an improvement for graphics that are built into the computer. The Core Ultra 5 models have a graphics card with 4 cores, which's similar to the old Radeon 760M graphics card.
The NUC Ultra Box 300 series comes in two types: the NUC and the slim NUCS. Both are 117.5 x 110 mm. They are different heights and have different connection options.
The regular NUC Box is 49 mm thick. It has two Ethernet connections and four USB ports. The slim NUCS Box is 38 mm thick. To save space it only has one Ethernet connection and three USB ports.
The NUC Ultra Box 300 series has professional grade connections that let you add things to it. ASRock included a lot of ports and memory options even though the computer is small. Both models can have up to 128 GB of RAM. You also get two M.2 slots for storage including one slot for the newest SSDs.
The computer has these connections:
- USB4, which can also be used for DisplayPort 2.1
- USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type C
It also has two HDMI 2.1 ports so you can connect monitors.. It has WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6 for wireless connections.
ASRock has not said how much the NUC Ultra Box 300 series will cost yet. These computers are for professionals who need computers in small spaces. You can check ASRocks website for information about when they will be available, in your area.
