Team NINJA has a blockbuster on its hands. Koei Tecmo officially announced this morning that Nioh 3 has surpassed one million units sold worldwide, making it the fastest selling entry in the entire action RPG franchise. Series sales have now surpassed the 10 million mark, affirming that the demand for hardcore Yokai slaying is at an all time high.
Launched on February 6 for PlayStation 5 and PC, Nioh 3 exceeded expectations. Early Steam statistics are indicative of this only, with simultaneous player numbers significantly higher than Nioh 1 and 2. Expansion into a larger world was the change that most fans were expecting.
