Sharp Professional Laser Projectors Expand Product Lineup

Professional venues can now use Sharp products which have expanded their laser projector lineup. The XPP621UW and XPP701UW represent Sharp's latest addition of two advanced laser projectors for its product range. The design of these projectors suits facilities which need to show large and bright images in spaces like museums and auditoriums and corporate conference areas. The two projectors enable users to display content on screens which can reach a maximum size of 300 inches.

The two projectors differ from each other because their brightness capacity shows different light levels which engineers measure in lumens. Users can select the appropriate power setting based on the light conditions present in their chosen installation space.

The projector Sharp XPP621UW provides 6200 lumens as its maximum brightness capacity. The projector Sharp XPP701UW provides 7000 lumens as its maximum brightness capacity. The two projectors use identical hardware components but their brightness capabilities differ from each other. The system provides users with high resolution imaging capabilities which enable them to install their equipment in multiple ways.

The system operates at a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels which corresponds to WUXGA. The light source of the system uses laser technology which offers a 20000 hours operational lifespan. The lens system provides 1.6x optical zoom capability which allows image projection at a distance range from 1.08 to 1.76 times. The image correction system enables users to manually adjust vertical and horizontal tilt angles for proper image alignment on different surface types.

The integration of control systems with transmission methods through industry standard protocols enables Sharp to create a system which works with professional environments. The system has multiple features which include

  • The system includes an inbuilt speaker system which delivers audio through a 16 watt speaker.
  • The system supports HDMI ports and HDBaseT connections which allow HDCP 1.4 encrypted signals to be transmitted over long distances.
  • The system enables users to manage their remote devices through centralized control in smart building environments which work with Creston and AMX systems.

The US market now offers the latest projectors from Sharp. The XPP621UW costs $3,449 while the XPP701UW higher output model costs $4,499.
