MOUSE P.I. For Hire Surpasses 1.4 Million Wishlists and Confirms Staggered Launch Dates for Digital and Physical Editions Across Multiple Gaming Platforms

The development team behind the highly anticipated title MOUSE P.I. For Hire has confirmed a staggered release schedule following a surge in community support With official wishlists now exceeding 1.4 million the studio revealed that the digital version of the game will launch on April 16 Fans interested in physical copies will need to wait until July 10 because of the longer timelines required for manufacturing and distribution

The physical release for the Nintendo Switch 2 will feature the entire game on a dedicated cartridge This ensures that players receive a complete physical product rather than a simple download key card The game will be available on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S platforms but its launch on PlayStation 4 and original Nintendo Switch will not happen until April 16 The team will provide future updates for those older platforms

Pre purchases for the title are currently exclusive to the Steam platform on PC The developers are investigating the possibility of offering pre orders for the Xbox Series consoles but there are no current plans to offer this service for the PlayStation 5 or the Switch 2 versions The studio confirmed that a demo will not be released before the launch because all resources are focused on the final version of the game

In response to questions regarding subscription services the team confirmed that MOUSE P.I For Hire will not be available on Xbox Game Pass at the time of launch However the title does support the Xbox Play Anywhere feature for digital customers The studio is currently developing specific editions which have already been announced to the public instead of creating a standard physical edition

Looking beyond the initial release a significant Story DLC expansion is currently in development for PC and modern consoles The new narrative experience will function as a standalone story which exists independently of the core plot found in the original game The local stores will begin selling physical copies in the upcoming weeks while the official website will display updates about product availability in different locations
