Netflix Expands Assassins Creed Series Cast with Four New Members

The upcoming live action adaptation of Assassins Creed by Netflix has confirmed the casting of four new actors. The production has secured Noomi Rapace and Sean Harris and Ramzy Bedia and Corrado Invernizzi as recurring cast members. The new cast members join existing cast members Toby Wallace and Lola Petticrew while their character details remain hidden.

New casting updates bring several high profile industry veterans to the project:

  • Noomi Rapace: Known for her lead roles in Prometheus and Lamb.
  • Sean Harris: Recognizable from the Mission: Impossible franchise and The Stranger.
  • Ramzy Bedia: Featured in Of Money and Blood and Haunted Minds.
  • Corrado Invernizzi: Recently seen in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Ford v. Ferrari.

The Netflix series develops into a thriller which follows two secret organizations the Assassins and the Templars who have fought their battle through centuries. The story shows how people fight for their freedom against a group that wants to dominate human history through deceit. The show will follow the same historical timelines and major world events that the Ubisoft game franchise uses.

Robert Patino (Westworld) and David Wiener (Halo) serve as the main showrunners and executive producers of the series. Ubisoft Film & Television production provides backing to the project while Gerard Guillemot and Margaret Boykin control the process of converting the video game content into live action series.

The series already announced its confirmed cast members who include:

  • Toby Wallace
  • Lola Petticrew
  • Zachary Hart
  • Laura Marcus
  • Tanzyn Crawford

The majority of Netflix investment into the Ubisoft library comes from this series because the games sold more than 230 million copies since 2007. The production work will continue until 2026 while character details will become public when the premiere date gets closer.
