Samsung Electronics has achieved its first successful production of 2 nanometer chips through its new foundry process. The company reported that their 2 nanometer semiconductor foundry process has now achieved yield rates greater than 60 percent. The manufacturing process now shows 60 percent yield which represents a major advancement from the previous yield range of 20 percent reported in the second half of last year.
