Unihertz Titan 2 Elite Series Launches with Physical Keyboards Featuring AMOLED Displays and High Performance Dimensity 8400 Chipsets on Kickstarter
Unihertz has launched the Titan 2 Elite Series as its first series of elite smartphones which feature physical keyboards and advanced smartphone functionality. Unihertz has begun its crowdfunding campaign to support the Titan 2 Elite and Titan 2 Elite Pro which is its more powerful model. The compact smartphones are built to attract users who want both touch typing and small size. The Kickstarter launch of these products introduces competition against dedicated keyboard products which include the Clicks Communicator. The standard Titan 2 Elite will start shipping in June 2026 while the Pro model will ship in October 2026.
The series includes two models which both have an excellent 4.03 inch AMOLED display. The display provides a 120 Hz refresh rate together with 1200 by 1080 pixels which results in clear images displayed on compact screens. The chassis dimensions which operate at 117.8 by 75 by 10.4 millimeters enable users to maintain minimal weight through its 163 gram total weight. The devices use a 4050 mAh battery which provides 33 W wired charging to offer users both convenient power and longlasting battery life.
The Pro version of the product achieves its exceptional performance through major internal hardware enhancements. Unihertz has installed the Dimensity 8400 chipset in the Titan 2 Elite Pro which serves as the same silicon used by highperformance devices. The system enables users to achieve significant performance improvements on both CPU and GPU tasks when compared to the standard model which uses Dimensity 7400. The Pro version of the device provides 512 GB of storage with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM while the base model only offers 256 GB storage capacity.
The Pro model shows its photographic capabilities through advanced photographic performance. The Titan 2 Elite Pro uses optical image stabilization which enables it to capture clearer images from its 50 megapixel primary sensor while the other smartphone uses the same sensor without this capability. The feature enables users to capture clearer images while recording videos with smooth motion under difficult lighting conditions. The camera system remains the same across both models which includes a 50 megapixel telephoto lens and a 32 megapixel front camera for highquality video calls and selfies.
Unihertz is currently selling the Titan 2 Elite to early backers at a price of 349 dollars which will increase after the initial sale levels are complete. The Titan 2 Elite Pro device provides advanced hardware capabilities which users can purchase for 479 dollars. The current devices represent a contemporary design evolution of the physical keyboard smartphone category which combines modern Android features with the traditional functionality of physical QWERTY keyboards.
