Infinix Unveils GT 50 Pro Featuring Active Micropump Liquid Cooling Technology alongside Dimensity 8400 Performance and 1.5K 144 Hz Display Specs

Infinix has launched its new GT 50 Pro smartphone which brings a major change to the mid range smartphone market. The device aims to bridge the gap between affordable hardware and flagship level thermal management. The Infinix product presentation revealed the HydroFlow active liquid cooling system as the main technological advancement of the system. The system uses a special micropump to move coolant through a closed system which functions like cooling technology found in high priced gaming systems. The company developed an external thermoelectric cooler system together with a direct motherboard charging method which bypasses battery power to reduce thermal stress during maximum usage periods.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor serves as the main processing unit for the internal architecture. The silicon functions together with 12 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage which delivers rapid performance through its high speed connections. The front chassis of the device uses an OLED display which measures 6.78 inches and provides 1.5K resolution with 144 Hz refresh rate. The display can reach a maximum brightness of 4500 nits which allows users to see content in all types of lighting environments. The official Infinix briefing confirms that the hardware is optimized to maintain a steady 144 frames per second in major competitive esports titles.

The GT 50 Pro smartphone offers users additional control options through its mechanical triggers which designers positioned within its body. Users can customize the buttons to create various gaming functions or perform system functions like activating AI assistants and taking screenshots. The audio experience is handled by stereo speakers certified for Dolby Atmos, providing the spatial awareness required for professional level mobile gaming.

The 6500 mAh battery allows the device to provide extended gaming time for users. The battery provides 45 watts of charging power through wired connections and 30 watts of charging power through wireless connections. The device includes a 50 MP main camera which features optical image stabilization despite its primary focus on gaming. The smartphone operates within an ecosystem that enables users to connect their wireless earbuds and dedicated gamepad and smart watch.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro is launching in silver, red, and black colorways. The starting price is set at 405 dollars for the configuration with 12 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage. The 512 GB storage option requires customers to pay an additional 60 dollars. The GT 50 Pro competes against standard smartphones priced under 500 dollars while its thermal capabilities remain exclusive to this market segment.
