Infinix has launched its new GT 50 Pro smartphone which brings a major change to the mid range smartphone market. The device aims to bridge the gap between affordable hardware and flagship level thermal management. The Infinix product presentation revealed the HydroFlow active liquid cooling system as the main technological advancement of the system. The system uses a special micropump to move coolant through a closed system which functions like cooling technology found in high priced gaming systems. The company developed an external thermoelectric cooler system together with a direct motherboard charging method which bypasses battery power to reduce thermal stress during maximum usage periods.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor serves as the main processing unit for the internal architecture. The silicon functions together with 12 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage which delivers rapid performance through its high speed connections. The front chassis of the device uses an OLED display which measures 6.78 inches and provides 1.5K resolution with 144 Hz refresh rate.
