Technical Performance and Visuals of the ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS
Panel Specifications and Visuals. The XG34WCDMS displays content at a WQHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 through its 34 inch display which features an 1800R curved design. The RGB Tandem QD OLED panel supports a 280Hz refresh rate while its gray to gray response time reaches 0.03ms. The monitor uses RGB Stripe Pixel technology to achieve precise visual output while BlackShield Film enhances surface durability and text visibility. The new coating technology enables scratch protection to increase by 2.5 times while improving the perception of black levels by 40 percent when compared to older hardware. The display meets VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black standards while achieving 99 percent DCI P3 color range coverage with a Delta E measurement below 2.
The ASUS OLED Care Pro package includes Neo Proximity Sensor technology which enables display longevity management. The sensor tracks user desk activity to activate a black screen which protects against burn in damage. The DisplayPort 1.4 interface with DSC and HDMI 2.1 support enables multiple connection options together with a USB C port which delivers 15W Power Delivery. The new compact stand design reduces physical space usage by creating a smaller footprint which enables better mouse space and peripheral access.
The ROG Strix XG129C Secondary Touchscreen Display
Interface and Utility. The ROG Strix XG129C functions as a secondary display which features a 12.3 inch size and 24 9 aspect ratio with 1920 x 720 resolution. The IPS panel supports 10 point touch control which enables users to interact with app management and system hotkeys through fast touch motions. A core feature of this display includes a 1 year AIDA64 Extreme subscription which works with ROG SensorPanel interfaces to transform the screen into a live hardware monitoring dashboard. The display achieves 125 percent sRGB and 90 percent DCI P3 color range which allows it to match the visual standards of high end primary displays.
The chassis reaches 6.3 millimeters thickness and contains an adjustable kickstand together with a standard tripod mount for different mounting options. The USB C port functions as a hybrid signal connection which transmits both power and video signals through one cable while the second USB C port supports 20W Power Delivery. A HDMI 1.2 port expands compatibility with various devices.
