Huawei Qingyun M273U Professional Monitor Launch Details Featuring 4K IPS PaperMatte Display Performance and High Color Accuracy Productivity Functions
The Qingyun M273U is a new monitor launched by Huawei featuring a 27 inch IPS panel. It is primarily marketed for its professional display characteristics and high color accuracy. The official announcement indicates that one of the monitor variants features the PaperMatte coating for a reduced glare experience. The anti glare coating imitates paper texture to decrease eye strain over long periods and supports the monitor's native 3840x2160 resolution.
The hardware is powered by a 27 inch IPS screen boasting a peak brightness of 450 nits, 100% sRGB and 95% P3 color space coverage. Despite its 4K resolution, it sports a refresh rate of 160Hz that is quite uncommon for many 4K monitors. Additionally, it is TV Rheinland certified to be flicker free and offer low blue light emission.
The PaperMatte variation drastically reduces reflections and ambient light spill, yielding a paper like display with reduced light bounce. In addition, it also comes with eBook mode and built in speakers delivering a total power of 26W. Connectivity for the PaperMatte model appears to be slightly more abundant than the regular variant since it supports USB C with 100W power delivery and DisplayPort Alt mode. Both versions offer 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and a single DisplayPort 1.4 input.
The monitor is made to simultaneously work with 2 input sources, both the standard and PaperMatte variants can take input signals in split screen or picture in picture mode across its 27 inch display. It is designed for professionals to enhance productivity when working with multiple screens or systems. Pricing and release dates are not yet announced and may be revealed as the hardware nears availability across regions later in 2026.
