LG UltraGear 25G590B Official Launch of the First Native 1000Hz Full HD Display with Advanced AI Features and Professional Esports Performance
LG Electronics has now officially unveiled the UltraGear 25G590B that claims to be the world s 1st Full HD display to ever have a native 1000Hz refresh rate. This hardware marvel is developed for the 2026 competitive gaming market which demands the most instant visual feedback possible. This is officially designated by LG Electronics as a product developed from concept demonstration technology for mass market sale.
The 25G590B boasts a 24.5inch screen, a size that is already a standard in FPS gameplay. With its native 1000Hz output at Full HD resolution, there will be no need to rely on a dual mode setting or lose visual quality with resolution scaling. The display itself includes the technology known as Motion Blur Reduction Pro to add definition to fast moving objects, allowing the player to identify targets easier while moving in high speed. The advanced IPS panel includes a low reflection film, keeping the colour reproduction uniform and minimising screen glare.
The build of the monitor has a utilitarian construction designed for the desktop use in competitive environments. A low profile stand design was chosen for a minimalistic base, leaving more desk space available for mouse movement, especially useful for low sensitivity mouse players. This stand includes calibration markers for tilt, height and swivel. These indicators allow the gamer to set a precise ergonomic setup that can be recorded and replicated in tournament venues and practice spaces. Included is an RGB light designated the UltraGear Emblem that adds ambiance without distracting from the actual content.
To assist in managing certain tasks with gaming, LG have included on board AI to take over specific roles. AI Scene Optimization adapts to the type of game displayed on screen and adjusts realism settings as needed for greater image depth. On the audio side, AI Sound processes the game to simulate a 3D spatial environment allowing greater communication for team members and better awareness of game sounds. All AI is handled internally, ensuring no additional latency will be added to the system.
Lee Choong hwoan (head of Display Business, LG Media Entertainment Solution Company) stated that this product defines a turning point in the market. "LG Electronics has introduced the first native 1000Hz Full HD gaming monitor. We will set a new performance paradigm."
This will be launched in limited global markets in the second half of 2026, followed by an expanded roll out to more countries by the end of the same year.
