Marshall have just added a new addition to its portable audio arsenal, this time with the new Milton ANC on ear headphones. While it features the classic Marshall retro look, the interior has seen upgrades capable of very modern active noise cancellation technology.

The headphones utilize a textured leather design, and the large ear pads are made with memory foam which will give comfort for extended wear. The structure is designed to fold to aid travel. For sound quality, the Milton ANC uses 32mm drivers which operate in a frequency range from 20Hz up to 40kHz. The output can be tweaked using the manufacturer's dedicated mobile app.

Bluetooth 6.0 LE Audio is provided, with access to LDAC, AAC, SBC and LC3 for increased efficiency and audio quality wirelessly. Other useful features include transparency mode so you don't lose awareness of your surroundings, and Adaptive Loudness.

The battery life of the Milton ANC is arguably a highlight as they provide more than 50 hours of ANC enabled listening and 80 hours when turned off. A rare and useful design decision is a user replaceable battery which gives the headphones increased longevity over and above the modern norm. The Marshall Milton ANC is priced at $229
