Nubia RedMagic 11S Pro International Launch Sets May 27 Date With Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Power And Active Cooling Performance
The official launch in international markets for Nubia's latest gaming phone, the RedMagic 11S Pro has been set by the company. After being launched in China yesterday, the manufacturer today confirmed that an official international launch will take place on May 27th at 12pm UTC. The phone makes a significant leap in to the premium gaming device category, packing in the Leading Version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip to provide flagship level computational power.
The phone has an extremely aggressive active cooling system; The phone comes packed with a mechanical fan which is capable of spinning at 24,000rpm at max capacity. Liquid metal thermal material, coupled with this cooling solution aims to keep the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip at stable temperatures throughout a lengthy gaming session. This version of the chip uses the same architecture as the one in the Galaxy S26 Ultra which currently retails at approximately $1100.
Visual performance is given by an extremely high, fluid 144Hz AMOLED display which would reduce motion blur and input lag. The international model of the phone boasts a 7500mAh battery, though this would presumably differ from the local market model which adheres to specific local power standards. The 7500mAh battery in the international model of the phone also offers 80W wired charging which is enough for very quick charges without degrading the longevity of the cell too much.
From official documentation from the launch event in China, the device seems to follow the pattern of a phased rollout. Though the announcement date in the international markets would be late May, legal documents from a Nubia giveaway show promotional campaigns lasting up to June 9. This indicates that pre orders for the RedMagic 11S Pro should commence within the first week of June, with a general retail sale date on June 9 or June 12. The phone will debut in China starting at 5499 CNY which equates to approximately $800.
Buyers in the international market should receive the same package including the 24,000 rpm cooling fan and the liquid metal technology. This is also similar to the product launch timeline of the RedMagic 11 Air and 11 Pro models, thus suggesting an annual launch cycle in global markets by Nubia. Official regional prices for European and North American buyers would be unveiled on May 27th during the press broadcast.
