AOC Q27G4SLM6WS Gaming Monitor with 360Hz and Mini LED Panel Released

AOC launches Q27G4SLM6/WS 27 inch Mini LED gaming monitor featuring 360Hz refresh rate and professional color accuracy for competitive players and artists

AOC now offers another display option with the launch of their Q27G4SLM6/WS gaming monitor that has now officially been added to the brands global product portfolio. The 27 inch flat screen monitor, currently on sale for $310 in the Chinese retail market is aimed primarily at competitive players but should also appeal to digital artists and photo editors thanks to the monitors extensive color accuracy.

This new monitor uses an IPS panel and mini LED backlighting to deliver better contrast with local dimming control. The panel boasts a resolution of 2560x1440 along with a blistering fast 360Hz refresh rate and 1ms gray to gray response time, it can reach peak brightness of 1200 nits during HDR content playback, giving it a VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. As far as color coverage goes, the panel boasts a 100% sRGB coverage and a Delta E calibration below 2 and also 99% Display P3 coverage and 98% Adobe RGB.

AOC have included several gaming focused utilities that have been embedded into the monitor itself. The monitor will allow for an on screen crosshair overlay and a shadow booster that helps illuminate dark areas in competitive games as well as supporting AMD FreeSync, enabling tearing free gameplay when linked with compatible graphics cards. To combat the strain from long gaming sessions, the monitor has 3 distinct TV certifications: one for flicker free operation, a second for circular polarization that does not cause glares and a third for a hardware based low blue light filter to help ease eye strain.

The design of the chassis supports for physical adjustments. The stand that comes with the monitor is an ergonomic one which allows for adjustment of the height, tilt, and swivel along with a 90 degree pivot to support rotation into portrait orientation. There are 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, a single DisplayPort 1.4 port and a single 3.5 millimeter audio output for headphones or powered desktop speakers at the back of the cabinet.
