ASUS ROG GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20 Flagship Graphics Card Features Colossal Cooling Glass Backplate Detachable AMOLED Display and Excessive Power Delivery

To celebrate two decades of the Republic of Gamers brand, ASUS has released a special edition flagship graphics card. The new GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20 is heavily customized with a colossal cooling shroud, glass backplate and also a detachable curved AMOLED display. The emphasis of this hardware is on excessive power delivery and hardware customization, tailored towards the enthusiasts segment.

This graphics card features dual input power, to achieve its optimum performance. Alongside a standard 16 pin 12V 2x6 power connector is also a BTF slot to the motherboard, that would enable the card to pull up to 800 watts of power from the motherboard itself. This amount of power is intended to drive the boosted clock speed of the GPU up to 2760 MHz. As can be seen, this massive power usage results in considerable heat output, and therefore ASUS have integrated a powerful cooling system involving 4 fans, a vapor chamber and copper heats pipes.

It is expected that the card will measure in at an enormous 36.1cm in length, 13.9cm in height, 9.4cm in thickness and 4.7 expansion slots worth of physical space. Due to this, the case itself will need to be relatively large with a fair bit of space. This graphics card will feature a transparent glass backplate on the back that allows users to view the circuit board underneath.

This graphics card includes an unusual removable curved AMOLED screen, situated on the outside face of the cooling shroud. This display is designed to inform the user of various pieces of information such as thermal outputs, GPU usage etc in real time, and also includes some rather interesting custom graphics using a 3D effect. No price or release date have been provided, and the unit will be placed at the very highest end of the enthusiast market.
