Atlus already revealed 20 minutes of actual gameplay for the long anticipated remake, rightly renamed Persona 4 Revival. The game is planned for release the 18 th day of February next year on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.

The combat system incorporates a number of modernization elements borrowed from Persona 5 and Persona 3 Reload. Players have access to the Baton Pass ability, which grants partners turn order priority in a fight. The protagonist has gained new state of action capabilities which enable him to react to incoming enemies' ultimatums by physical blocking them off before an encounter begins.

A new combat form of transportation, Send Flying, transfers the adverse status effects of an enemy targeted by a character to nearby foes.

To accommodate these alterations in the combat system, Atlus has overhauled the design of the place, pairing its quality and detail to the contemporary school of the series.

Although the page never discusses the storylines or gameplay particulars in clear detail, Atlus' decision to allow one's purchase to go onto an active wishlist immediately confirms that the company is in the process of positioning its release timing to earn a sizable slice of the role playing game market over the upcoming several fiscal quarters.
