AYANEO Pocket MICRO 2 Retro Game Console revealed as Gen 2 Powerhouse with totally re evolved classic design
AYANEO the portable hardware company has revealed the first official information on the upcoming retro game console, which is called AYANEO Pocket MICRO 2. Promotional info released on the company’s official X account calls it Gen 2 Powerhouse and the next iconic handheld in the Retro Gaming Community.
This newest handheld is the second version of the manufacturer's ultra-compact pocket design. AYANEO considers this to be a "remake" and "fully re-evolved" piece of classic pocket hardware made to function and perform at the modern pace required by the gaming audience and it is targeted at "pure retro software game lovers with high standards for portability and quality".
Although the previous generation hardware was more about a compact shape, Gen 2 designation indicates improved and amplified processing performance as the device might sport a better performing chip enabling it to handle intensive emulation without any lag while maintaining the classic horizontal design layout, promising performance to fit within pocket portability.
