Pearl Abyss Crimson Desert Surpasses 6 Million Sales Achievement and Future Story Expansion DLC Production Confirmed
Pearl Abyss officially announced today that Crimson Desert global sales have surpasses 6 million copies. According to official business report made by Korean developer game has reached this achievement within 3 month period since it officially released to public. This is undeniably one of major commercial successes to the company despite initial market doubts during production stage.
The global sales figure, although is very high the recent market data revealed that sales momentum of the game is slowing down. Acquisition rate from 5 million copies to 6 million copies took 2 months in comparison to very rapid sales pace during post launch period.
The performance of the game however has made the management satisfied by it. Software update with new gameplay contents and free mini games are distributed regularly to both retaining existing and motivating inactive players and to award the players who purchased it.
The developer at the company are working hard on major post launch content in order to extend the franchise.
