Eldamar Studio Debuts 2nd Lucid Falls Trailer at Summer Showcase

Eldamar Studio Launches Second Lucid Falls Trailer Highlighting Surreal Unreal Engine Gameplay And Environmental Psychological Horror Effects

Eldamar Studio has launched a second trailer for its forthcoming atmospheric horror title, Lucid Falls, during the annual broadcasting of The MIX Summer Showcase. This new preview builds on the hyper realistic Unreal Engine visuals previously shown off for the first time during the Day of the Devs presentation at The Game Awards one year prior. In the newest trailer, there is a short reveal of the first version of the gameplay features currently being developed.

At its heart, Lucid Falls is about the psychologically terrifying nature of being trapped within a lucid dream where players manipulate the fundamental forces of the physical universe. The puzzles and the pathfinding mechanisms for Lucid Falls will require players to actively use gravity manipulation, bending spacetime, and time alteration to escape the monstrosities that dwell within the dream world. The development team intends to further elaborate on environmental storytelling and a sense of immersion through both cinematographic art and intricately detailed environments, along with an eerie sound design that complements any encounter with the monstrous elements of the dream world.

Eldamar Studio has paired its community interaction through the Steam service where the game can currently be added to a personal wishlist in order to receive future updates on the development of the game. Creative Director Yurii Radkevych stated his excitement regarding the project and the production cycle for its creation.

"We are excited to immerse people in the dark, dreamlike atmosphere of Lucid Falls once more with this new trailer. We are looking forward to diving in deeper in the future and we hope the little snippets of gameplay we have teased in this new trailer will tide you over until we are ready to share more."

The Unreal Engine continues to be utilized at the advanced rendering level of the game's atmosphere. Launch and platform windows will be released later on into a final build candidate of the game.
