Gigabyte Infinity Series Hardware Unveils New High Performance Motherboards Graphics Cards AI Systems and High Refresh Rate Monitors to Celebrate Company Anniversary
As a commemoration of the company’s 40th anniversary, Gigabyte has unveiled their latest hardware portfolio, termed Infinity Series. This portfolio consists of high performance motherboards, graphics cards, cooling components, peripheral devices, and an indigenous artificial intelligence hardware system, as announced by Gigabyte at their anniversary event. Memory speed and performance are enhanced and at the same time, heat dissipation capacity is improved along with the realization of a cableless PC building environment through the new Gigabyte portfolio.
The top of the line X870 AORUS Infinity motherboard enables the DDR5 memory to attain a speed of 11,400 MT/s via specially optimized low latency tuning. Compared to standard systems, it has a response time that is improved by 20% with X3D Turbo Mode 2.0, designed to optimally operate AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processors. The X870E AORUS Infinity Next motherboard, for continued energy transfer and thermal control, is integrated with 3D metal printed thermal shroud along with space grade Quad OptiMOS power phases to avoid thermal throttling under excessive processing loads.
To increase memory density, CQDIMM is utilized to achieve the full performance at 256 GB when in a two DIMM configuration on the Z890 Plus series motherboard. Through the D5 DUO X BIOS tuning, the voltage and signal synchronization are adjusted in system with no decrease in the data transfer speed. Cableless PC building is made a standard, as Gigabyte introduced their first ever B850 mATX reverse connector motherboard which has its connectors moved to the back and also the capacity to be coupled with fifty PC cases from more than 20 computer casing manufacturers.
At the head of the graphics card range is the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 Infinity equipped with a WINDFORCE Hyperburst liquid cooling system designed to maintain operating temperature within reasonable limits. Alongside this is the introduction of the RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070 Infinity graphics cards with a physical stealth design in order to move the power interface connector to the back of the PCB, therefore bettering airflow and managing cable entanglement in PC casing. Further personalizing their look, the AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity Wood is characterized by the integration of natural wood material into its exterior casing.
Two AI Box hardware models the AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX and the AORUS RTX 5060 Ti AI BOX have been manufactured for systems that need to leverage their high computing power. Both of these externally connect to a laptop so as to present the processing capability of a desktop computer and a local machine learning function. The AORUS Elite 360 liquid cooler has been introduced to boost desktop thermal control; it possesses real time system diagnostics and tunable dynamic lighting settings.
For development teams building or running large language models (LLM), the AI TOP 100 B850 will function as a local workstation that can support artificial intelligence processing 24/7. With capabilities for model architectures in excess of two hundred billion parameters and pre validated performance in one hundred or more developer frameworks, systems under this lineup use a UD1600PM PG5 AI TOP power supply, capable of sustaining continuous intense loads from multiple GeForce RTX 5090 or Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics cards.
Laptops now feature local artificial intelligence capability as well. The AORUS Master 16 and the AERO X16 incorporate the GiMATE, a local assistant software for system power management, control of lighting modes, and optimized performance in local image generation through the NVFP4 quantization which enables the FLUX 2 klein renderer to perform up to 180% better than earlier models.
In visual devices, the AORUS Elite monitor series incorporates 4th Gen Tandem OLED and 5K Mini LED technology in 27 and 32 inch sizes. While selected models like FO32U24GP and FO27Q54G monitor refresh rate peaks at 540Hz, others (4K models) feature adjustable variable resolution gaming through double display modes. The 27 inch 5K display, FM275K16P, features a display of high pixel density. Features like a built in on screen HUD (heads up display) and cooperation with the AI OLED Care Pro software will regulate pixel maintenance through hardware integrated heat pipes.
The peripheral lineup concludes with the AORUS K10 Infinity keyboard and AORUS M10 Infinity mouse. The K10, a keyboard, contains magnetic switches that can operate at an 8000Hz polling rate, an actuation point of 0.1mm and is equipped with a 3.1 inch color OLED display to facilitate software adjustment on the fly. The M10 mouse is furnished with optical switches, a base plate manufactured out of aluminum magnesium alloy and an excimer coat on the external housing to avoid wear. Also provided is an AORUS C510 Glass Infinity computer case that features a 16 inch liquid crystal display built directly into its side window.
