Gigabyte has unveiled its new AI gaming laptops at Computex. The new devices include a host of award winning designs, as well as a new version of Gigabyte's AI assistant software: GiMATE. The enhanced software offers better user controls for system optimization, gaming, content creation and all other system workload.
GiMATE has introduced a wide range of customization features for the user. RGB Fusion 3.0 now comes with an RGB Music Mode which syncs system lighting to audio from active games and media in real time, whereas the AI Visual offers specialized display profiles (Cinema, Racing, FPS, E paper) for enhanced viewing during specific workloads. Gigabyte and NVIDIA has further developed their relationship, implementing NVFP4 quantization to enhance generative AI model performance when using the GiMATE Creator application on RTX 50 Series mobile devices.
The most powerful device on the lineup is the Aorus Master 16, winner of a Computex Best Choice award for extreme performance. The premium machine features an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090. It also includes a MUX switch in a 19mm body that also offers a powerful Windforce Infinity EX cooling system, capable of maintaining up to 230 W TGP when under continuous use, and does so with little fan noise.
Alongside this device were the Aero X16, winner of a Red Dot Design Award, which also acts as a Copilot plus PC, with an RTX 5070 with 12GB of video memory and uses DLSS 4.5 for faster processing and better imaging in demanding applications and an improved large language model. The main mid range gaming laptop is the Gaming A16 Pro, which has a powerful RTX 5080 at its disposal within a 19.45mm body, and a 180 degree hinge enabling the laptop to lay flat on the desk.
