iiyama enters OLED gaming market with G Master GOB2701QSC B1 Titan Falcon featuring 280Hz refresh rate and pro level color accuracy

Display producer iiyama is the latest to break into the OLED gaming monitor market with the G Master GOB2701QSC B1 Titan Falcon. The move comes as part of the Japanese company's latest entry into the gaming arena, adding their first premium organic light emitting diode option to give existing hardware competitors a run for their money.

The Titan Falcon boasts a 27 inch OLED screen which has a native resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. Designed for pro level play, the screen boasts a super high refresh rate of 280Hz and a lightning fast 0.03 ms gray to gray response time. The monitor also excels in high dynamic range work with a peak brightness of 1500 nits. And for fast paced games, the screen supports both G SYNC and FreeSync Premium variable refresh technology from NVIDIA and AMD.

The display's primary concern is to precisely reproduce color, therefore it's appropriate for a variety of media and creative work. It encompasses 99.5% of the D Is play P3 color space, 95% of Adobe RGB, and 150% of the traditional sRGB color space. On top of providing a great contrast ratio, this color set has accurate re production, expected of current high spec OLED fabrication.

The physical connectivity options at the rear of the monitor are reconfigurable to connect to a wide range of source devices. It has 2 HDMI 2.1 inputs and 1 input for DisplayPort 2.1. The monitor also includes a USB C port capable of providing DisplayPort video signals in alt mode up to 65W of power to charge laptops connected to it, and run tasks that only require the display on built in 3.2 Gen 1 hub; included in this is a KVM switch so displays and controls 2 separate computer systems with 1 set of controls. Incoming audio is processed through 2 5 watt built in speakers.
