Innodisk and Qualcomm Partner to Launch Scalable Dragonwing AI Product Lines Offering up to 700 TOPS for Edge Applications and Smart Manufacturing Systems
AI provider Innodisk adds to its hardware offerings via strategic partnership with Qualcomm Technologies. As announced during Innodisk's Computex 2026 show exhibition, Innodisk has also unveiled its complete range of AI on Dragonwing product lines the IQ8, IQ9, IQ10, and IQ X Dragonwing family of systems capable of scaled 20 700 TOPS for edge AI applications.
With the shift of compute workload from a central cloud system to localized edge nodes, demand for powerful, low power, hardware is on the rise. This can be supported with a guaranteed production life cycle until 2036 and beyond for the Dragonwing architecture. In order to simplify software integration, Innodisk has decided to bundle this hardware with the new IQ Studio software tool suite to enable reduced lead time in deployment of machine learning models.
The top tier IQ10 system provides up to 350 TOPS of computing power and is built to handle up to 20 concurrent camera feeds for humanoids, AMRs, or VLMs. The IQ X system has built in native Windows OS support allowing for direct integration with current industrial equipment, PLCs, HMIs and edge controllers without requiring re working of software architecture.
Randy Chien, Chairman at Innodisk, shared his vision regarding the partnership:
"Our two decade long expertise in the industrial market coupled with Qualcomm's high efficiency processor architecture aims to speed the widespread adoption of physical AI and smart manufacturing systems across industries,"
Innodisk showed off some of the hardware's real world applications during the exhibition, featuring multiple models with simultaneous inference tasks as well as a real time autonomous navigation system, all of which are ready for mass production and deployment.
