Lenovo Legion 5i 15IAX11 Redesign Launches in North America with Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX CPU and Nvidia RTX 5060 GPU Features
Lenovo continues the launch of its Gen 11 gaming hardware with the addition of the Legion 5i 15IAX11 to the North American market. It was first introduced internationally. The laptop itself is a complete redesign of Lenovo's mainstream portable gaming offering and brings both new silicon from Intel and Nvidia in a more compact form factor compared to the previous generation.
The laptop acts as a successor to the last gen Raptor Lake laptop. The chassis that the Gen 11 uses is noticeably smaller than the last gen one, being roughly 10mm shorter than the Gen 10 equivalent while it is also between 5 and 16% thinner depending on the model. It features distribution of all of the I/O ports across three different sides of the laptop to maintain cable manageability in your desk setup.
The laptop features an even bigger 15.3 inch glossy OLED screen though it does keep its 2560x1600 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. While in HDR the screen has a 1000 nit peak brightness, which is halved to 500 nits while displaying standard definition. It has an 80Wh battery on the inside and support for expansion through two separate M.2 drives (an M.2 2242 PCIe 5.0 slot and an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot).
This initial release is only equipped with 16GB DDR5 5600 RAM for the North American market but can be configured with up to 32GB by Lenovo. The CPU inside is the new 3nm Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX which uses 4 additional efficiency cores while having 2 less processing threads compared to the 13th gen i7 13650HX.
The initial US variant of the Legion 5i 15IAX11 will set you back $2959. That also gives you an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 with a total graphics power of 115W, the same as the old model. We can expect even more powerful configurations released later in 2026 including a Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB of video memory.
