Lenovo ThinkPad P16s mobile workstation arrives with Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA RTX Blackwell graphics for high performance professional engineering and digital content creation workflows
Lenovo recently augmented its business hardware portfolio by unveiling the ThinkPad P16s, a professional mobile workstation tailored for professionals in engineering and digital content creation fields. As announced on its official product page, this laptop houses the Intel Core Ultra CPUs in conjunction with discrete NVIDIA RTX graphics that are engineered using the Blackwell architecture. This laptop is poised to cater to professionals seeking robust workstation compute performance in a portable package. Lenovo’s new laptop has been unveiled with a hefty price tag that begins at $2950 and goes up to $3395 in the Chinese markets.
Display and Processors, Lenovo ThinkPad P16s comes with a 16 inch OLED display with 2880x1800 pixels of resolution, and supports a 120Hz refresh rate and will have an optional touch screen variant available for users who desire it for more efficient navigation and workflow. Under the hood, the workstation is powered by one of Intel’s newest chip sets it will have an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H or an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H for processing power. However, graphics wise it initially will be made available with an NVIDIA RTX Pro 500 or an NVIDIA RTX Pro 1000 card, but the workstation eventually will support even more powerful graphics solutions, such as the NVIDIA RTX Pro 2000.
Memory Lenovo ThinkPad P16s will come with a default 32GB RAM and a 1TB storage and a hefty 90Whr battery, so you can expect it to last throughout the long hours of engineering workflows without you having to unplug from the socket every couple of hours. Connectivity will also be covered with 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, 2 USB C ports, an HDMI 2.0 output, Ethernet and even a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Lenovo P16s will hit the shelves in Chinese markets starting at $2950 (around $417 as of press time), for models packing the Core Ultra 7 processor alongside the RTX Pro 500 graphics.
The other option, which carries the same CPU but utilizes an RTX Pro 1000 for graphic processing will cost $3395, or nearly $480. Further pricing details for the Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and the NVIDIA RTX Pro 2000 graphics will be announced at a later date.
