LG StanbyME 2 Max Elevates Lifestyle Computing with 4K UHD Resolution 32 Inch Mobile Display and Advanced AI Processing Features
LG Electronics has expanded its collection of lifestyle monitors with the unveiling of the StanbyME 2 Max. As detailed in the announcement, this mobile display is equipped with a 32 inch 4K LCD screen mounted on a mobile ground stand for effortless movement throughout the home.
A major breakthrough for the new model is the resolution jump to 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) which is a considerable improvement over the 2560 x 1440 pixels of the previous generation. The touch sensitive display provides support for Dolby Vision to improve color depth and contrast while Dolby Atmos technology offers an immersive all round acoustic experience.
The performance of this system is powered by the Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen3 which optimizes both picture quality and sound effects. Visual processing is managed via AI Picture Pro which detects important objects on the screen to enhance realism and AI Super Upscaling which sharpens edges and improves texture details. Sound processing utilizes AI Sound Pro to create an 11.1.2 virtual surround sound space through the inbuilt speakers.
The format of the monitor is highly adaptable to user needs. It can be tilted forward or back for a horizontal high definition viewing experience or rotated 90 degrees to be used as a portrait styled screen for mobile media consumption.
In standby mode the display integrates into the home environment using LG Gallery plus software. This software features a collection of over 5000 digital artworks designed to complement any interior space.
For true wireless portability the display uses an internal battery that offers up to 4.5 hours of continuous video playback. This battery can be easily recharged via a USB Type C port. LG will offer the StanbyME 2 Max in a clean white color. While the launch is confirmed pricing information for the global market has yet to be announced.
