LG Launches UltraGear 27G550B Gaming Monitor Worldwide with 300Hz Refresh Rate and Fast IPS 1080p Display for Competitive Play

LG introduced its gaming monitor UltraGear 27G550B worldwide. The monitor is built for competitive play, wherein "extraordinary visual flow and swift pixel response" is demanded. The UltraGear30G550B optimize delivery of frames and realize in response to the motion in game and minimize delaying.

The monitor uses a Fast IPS panel with a native resolution of 1080p, while a game overclock can boost the refresh rate up to 300 Hz for high frame rate gaming. Response times are quoted as 1 ms gray to gray, and contrast ratio is 1000 1 (static). Brightness reaches a maximum 300 nits, and the entire sRGB colour space is rendered.

The input options offer 2 HDMI 2.0 sockets and 1 DisplayPort 1.4 port in addition to a 3.5 mm jack socket for inputting sound to external speakers or headphones. For physical changes, the inclusion of a desktop stand will allow for height adjustment tilt mode and full pivot rotation to allow the display to handle different layouts on the desk.
