The wearable is powered by 2.01 inches curved AMOLED display with 410x502 pixel resolution. The panel supports a brightness of up to 1000 nits for better outdoor readability. It has more than 100 athletic activity modes available including walking, running, outdoor cycling and more. Users also get Bluetooth calling, and music controls on their wrist without their phone connected to the smartwatch.

Apart from activity tracking it has special function to monitor periods and has automatic reminders for drinking water, and moving your body after a prolonged time sitting down. Data collection regarding fitness activities and biological metrics is performed by a VC30F SG heart rate sensor and an SC7A20H motion sensor located on the underside of the casing.

The Meizu Watch M1 has a silver colored case with a black silicone strap. Its case is IP68 certified, making it capable of resisting dust, rain, sweat, and a brief plunge in water. It is equipped with 300 mAh battery which last 3 to 5 days depending on normal usage. When power saving is active, it can last up to 15 days on a single charge. Reaching up to 100% charge takes about 2 hours with the bundled charger.
