MSI Celebrates 40 Years with Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition and Artistic Prestige 14 Flip Plus New Katana and Venture Gaming Laptop Series Upgrades

In commemoration of its 40th anniversary, MSI presented a selection of high performance premium laptops during the Computex event. Dominating the exhibit is the limited edition desktop replacement computer known as the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic, designed in reference to the Draco constellation. This computer represents the pinnacle of MSI's design capabilities, featuring detailed metal etching and advanced anodizing to produce textured designs that produce dynamic light reflections all around its chassis.

Built for maximum demanding performance, the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic incorporates an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24GB of GDDR7 memory. It sports an 18 inch UHD Mini LED display with 3840 by 2400 pixel resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 compliance. It is equipped with a mechanical per key RGB keyboard and a haptic RGB touchpad. The monstrous vapor chamber cooling system keeps its temperatures in check. Weighing 3.6kg, the laptop also ships with a collector bundle that includes a gaming mouse, mousepad, and a physical souvenir coin.

For creatives, MSI also put out a brand new Prestige 14 Flip AI plus Vincent van Gogh Edition as part of their Artisan Collection. The chassis’ artistic design takes visual inspiration from the famous masterpieces The Starry Night and Starry Night Over the Rhone, playing with light and shadows to create a stylish design. It’s powered by an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor – in this case the Intel Core Ultra X9 378H, combined with an Intel Arc B390 graphic. The display is a 14 inch OLED touchscreen with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and supports a 100% DCI P3 color spectrum. It's a convertible that weighs just 1.37kg, packs an 81Whr battery and supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM.

The mainstream and gaming segments also got substantial upgrades. The redesigned Katana lineup provides affordable, performance driven machines to everyday gamers, with hardware configurations going up to an Intel Core i9 14900HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. A new lineup that debuted is the Venture, targeting everyday productivity with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and strong cooling solutions, capable of stable performance for light creative tasks. Finally, exclusively released regionally, the Crosshair 16 HX MLG Edition sports a white and pearlized chassis designed after the MSI Dragon Princess mascot. The gaming device is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HX processor and an 16 inch QHD display capable of a 240Hz refresh rate.
