MSI MAG Infinite Z Pre Built Desktop Launches with RTX 5070 Ti and Ryzen 7 9700X for Optimized 1440p Gaming in a Compact Chassis
MSI added a 1440p optimized pre built desktop to its portfolio the MAG Infinite Z. In its official product page announcement, MSI states that this machine is ready for a combination of AMD and NVIDIA components and is designed to deliver mid tower performance with easily accessible components for upgrades and maintenance, alongside optimized sound acoustics.
Hardware for this machine is packed into a modest 25 liter chassis and includes a tempered glass side panel that reveals a showcase of the components within. The machine’s design comes with RGB elements managed through the Mystic Light feature, which adds custom lighting to some branding on the case. A handy I/O panel can be found on the top of the desktop with high speed USB ports ready to accommodate various peripherals.
In terms of storage, the machine features space for up to 2 M.2 NVMe solid state drives and one traditional drive, the maintenance of which has been made more accessible with the inclusion of thumb screws and tool less design for various component installations. MSI also touts their EZ M.2 CLIP and EZ PCIe Clip II features that can quickly remove and replace storage devices and graphics cards without specialized tools.
In its most powerful configuration, the MAG Infinite Z comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. MSI’s Silent Storm Cooling AI software monitors the hardware internally and automatically adjust the cooling fan curves based on real time temperatures. This intelligent automation ensures optimized cooling when necessary, and minimized fan noise when idle.
On the back I/O panel, the machine has
- One HDMI output
- Four USB 3.2 Type A ports
- Two USB 2.0 Type A ports
- A 2.5G Ethernet port for high speed network connectivity
- Two antenna connectors for wireless
- Integrated traditional audio jacks
The official price and market release dates for the different configurations have not yet been announced by MSI.
