Noble Audio Launches Osprey Mid Tier True Wireless Earbuds Featuring Hybrid Acoustic Design Active Noise Cancellation and Bluetooth 5.4 Technology
Noble Audio is launching a new true wireless model at a mid tier price. Usually, they focus on high end gear, so the Osprey represents a deliberate attempt to access a wider audience of audiophiles. The earbuds maintain the company's familiar aesthetic of a marble pattern faceplate and a durable metal charging case.
Each of Noble's new Ospreys utilize a hybrid sound design with a dynamic driver to provide robust bass frequencies, and a balanced armature driver for high frequency clarity and detailed mids. Each shell has a design that is built for the dual drivers while being ergonomically comfortable. The internal chipset used for the headphones is the Airoha 1571, which is a subsidiary of MediaTek. It supports the new Bluetooth 5.4 wireless standard and a plethora of hi res codecs like SBC, AAC, and LDAC. It also supports two simultaneous connections, the only limitation being that they must be from 2 distinct devices (multipoint dual source connection).
In order to offer a full package for everyday use, Noble has included hybrid active noise cancellation, along with a transparency mode. The included microphones in the shell aid in noise canceling during voice calls to facilitate conversation. To tune your listening experience precisely to your preferences, an EQ option is included through a companion smartphone application. The earbuds are stated to last up to 5 hours on a single charge while active noise cancellation is in use, and up to 7 hours with active noise cancellation disabled. There is also a fast charge function within the charging case, delivering 2 hours of listening from just 10 minutes of charge. The earbuds should be available at the end of this month for $199.
