OneNetbook ONEXPLAYER 3 Handheld Launch Features Intel Arc G3 Extreme Chip with Versatile 3 in 1 Design and AI Performance

The evolving business of portable PC is heading in the direction of multi functional products that consider productivity and premium gaming experiences. To cater this, OneNetbook has launched ONEXPLAYER 3, which is the 1st handheld console with Intel Arc G3 Extreme is installed on board. As per Pre campaign documents available on Indiegogo crow funding, this is a 3 in 1 device with physical design that can be used as hamdheld console, a dedicated Tablet PC as well as a mini Laptop.

The Intel Arc G3 Extreme chip is produced to Intel advanced 18A process node which brings significant performance gains in both electrical efficiency and thermals. The Integrate graphics chip could offer a performance increase of 50% to 77% against earlier generation portable hardware. The GPU also is able to run hardware accelerated real time ray tracing and use Intels XeSS 3 frame generation technology for a boost in image smoothness in processor intensive software titles. The chip is thermally managed by a Copper vapor chamber cooling solution and fast internal fans to avoid getting performance throttled during long gaming sessions.

Artificial intelligence is widely integrated into the system architecture. The silicon incorporates a dedicated Neural Processing Unit, providing 50 TOPS local AI performance in the headgear and a system wide platform capacity of 180 TOPS. The use of an independent NPU dedicated to background computation process off loads the CPU/GPU reducing heat and energy dissipation. Power drawn from an 85Wh pack to support intense gaming and mobile office use off the grid.

The visual output is presented on an 8.8 inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It supports high dynamic range content with a variable refresh rate technology to avoid tearing. The body of the device has removable side controllers and a backlit keyboard made of magnetically affixed pieces.

A dedicated controller dock enables the users to combine the left and right controls into a single wireless game pad compatible with the input protocol of the Xbox 360.

The main display is also controlled by a capacitive touch screen for natural navigation capabilities without the controllers attached.

The console is available in 3 hardware configurations via the Indiegogo. The base tier configuration comes with 24GB (4 x 6) of LPDDR5X 7467 memory, a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 solid state drive and the price is set at $1,438.16 with the general retail price of 1,746.56. The mid tier configuration will have a larger internal storage capacity of a 1 TB solid state drive. The price is set at $1,540.96 with the general retail price of 1,849.36.

Flagship tier includes 32GB of high speed LPDDR5X 8533 memory, along with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 solid state drive. The flagship tier sells for $1,746.56 in the campaign introductory periods and will be retailing at an even higher rate of $2,054.96. All system models will be outfitted with a dark chassis appropriate for desktop gaming or professional business operation.
