OpenAI provides ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to Samsung Electronics to accelerate digital transition through software development and data security
OpenAI has completed one of its largest corporate deal to date by providing generative AI services to South Korea s Samsung Electronics. As per OpenAI Korea, the creator will provide ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex for all the south Korean workforces of the technology major, as well as all international employees of the device Experience division. The extensive deployment has been made to hasten the digital business transition across most of the key sectors.
The electronics company intends to use each of the programs for software development, product design, manufacturing and marketing. This service offers Samsung Electronics additional enterprise security capabilities such as document and data security, user login security and corporate wide administration security settings. Employees are encouraged to tap artificial intelligence for report writing, research and summarization within the proven security protocol of the electronics business.
The integration also has a cost dimension of benefits for big operations. A recent update in the Open AI administrative console enables the manager to view the extent of usage of credits for each models and each user group. This integrated tracking system will enables the Samsung OpenAI system to have an exact knowledge of credit depletion and thus help the IT administration to better control on its expenses.
The other focus of this partnership is on developer productivity via the introduction of Codex. Codex is designed to support developers in code generation, code review and bug detection.
