Razer Kitsune Ryu Edition Street Fighter 6 Arcade Stick Debuts at EVO with Low Profile Optical Switches and Tournament Grade Design

Razer launched a special edition arcade stick designed in the likeness of Ryu from Street Fighter 6. Named the Kitsune Ryu Edition, it made its first appearance at the annual EVO fighting game tournament held in Las Vegas. This specialized controller targets competitive players who require tournament grade equipment built for quick response and accuracy.

The layout features a bold black and white presence punctuated by aggressive red highlights with an image of Ryu elegantly inscribed on the top aluminum plate. Razer included Chroma RGB lighting to infuse colorful illumination along the lower edge of the chassis. Hidden under the high quality metal surface is a built in controller that employs low profile optical mechanical switches to capture player movement with delay free input which is especially important in one on one duels.

To preserve competitive integrity, Razer integrated a dedicated hardware switch called the Tournament Lock Switch. This switch disables all non vital system keys while the system is live to prevent unintended pauses or function triggers that might result in disqualification. Due to these safety features, the controller has been approved for use in official Capcom Pro Tour events.

Although the controller was demonstrated live to Las Vegas delegates, Razer has yet to reveal the retail price and official ship date. Razer stated the product will ship in limited quantities worldwide, positioning it as a potential collector item for fighting game fans. Players who want early access should follow the official company channels for details on the first pre order chance.
