Realme P4R 5G Budget Smartphone Combines Rugged Military Grade Build With Massive 8000 mAh Battery and Affordable Prices
The realme P4R 5G is a new budget friendly phone released by Realme that looks set to dominate the low cost phone market with a focus on a rugged, hard wearing build and long lasting battery power. Where the budget sector lacks the design and functionality, Realme are setting the pace to create a high quality affordable option with the new P4R 5G. Along with a physical design the phone will come equipped with a fast refresh rate display and a huge capacity battery.
On the front is a 6.8 inch IPS screen with resolution of 1570x720 pixels, with the screen refresh rate at 144 Hz for a fluid image alongside a maximum brightness level of 1200 nits which helps the visibility of the screen when in the sun. The device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 5G compatibility with internal storage up to 6GB RAM alongside a 256GB storage capacity. The phone's dual rear camera array is made up of a 50 megapixel camera that has the ability to record a dual perspective recording, and use google lens along with night shooting mode, as well as some creative filter options for taking pictures. The front facing camera is an 8 megapixel device, which is mainly designed to take video and is also capable of unlocking the device using biometrics via facial recognition.
Battery wise is another area the P4R excels in, with an immense 8000 mAh battery that can be charged with the use of a 45 watt wired charger. The efficiency of the processor combined with the large battery gives the phone excellent usage time away from any power sockets. Other hardware on the device include a side mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. In terms of weather resistance the device comes certified to an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone is also military grade MIL STD 810H certified meaning the phone should be able to cope with everyday wear and tear without the need for additional cases.
The P4R comes available in black, silver and purple, with the device to be released with three different specification models all aimed at being low cost; a 4GB/128GB model can be expected to cost $200, with a mid tier 6GB/128GB model set at $220 and a top spec model with 6GB/256GB priced at $240.
