TCL Announces Thunderbolt 274U7A 4K Mini LED Gaming Monitor with Dual Resolution Modes and High Refresh Rate Performance for Competitive Gaming

TCL has been quite active lately and has just announced the Thunderbolt 274U7A display which it labels as a high speed monitor "made to game". It will support the mini LED backlighting system to deliver improved contrast and brightness with 2 distinct presets to switch between depending on the application.

It has a 27 inch Fast IPS panel with a native resolution of 3840x2160 (4K), which can boast of 160Hz native refresh rate, and with a dual mode feature can drop the resolution down to 1080p to boost the refresh rate to an amazing 320Hz for competitive games that demand extreme motion clarity and frame rates. The response time is listed at 1 millisecond GtG, and a peak brightness of 800 nits can be achieved thanks to the Mini LED backlighting system.

To allow for smooth motion, the monitor also supports AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible technologies to eliminate tearing and stuttering. It comes with a color accuracy of 99% sRGB and 98% DCI P3 so it would even be suitable for image editing.
