TECNO SPARK 50 Pro Budget Smartphone Offers IP69 Protection and Sony LYTIA Camera with Long Lasting Battery

Budget conscious brand TECNO launched a new SPARK series smartphone with the SPARK 50 Pro. Based on manufacturer release data the device promises excellent durability along with great camera capabilities at an affordable price point. In the budget segment the smartphone excels with physical water and dust protection combined with a contemporary camera sensor along with a long lasting battery system.

The display interface is 6.78 inches diagonally using an IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate for fluent display. It has an HD+ display with a circular notch which provides an 8 MP front camera sensor. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256 GB storage.

The SPARK 50 Pro comes with either 5600 mAh or 6000 mAh battery size depending on the region which supports 60 watt of fast charging. The battery is said to offer great longevity, maintaining over 80% of its battery life for 6 years of everyday charging, a feature rarely seen in budget class mobile hardware.

It features a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 600 primary camera sensor which uses a 1/1.95 inch sensor. These specs enable great light intake and crisp image in low light situations. It also uses stereo speakers to deliver quality sound. It comes with an IP68 and IP69 rating, indicating superior dust and water protection.

The smartphone runs Android 16 customized with HiOS 16 skin, with the addition of Tecno AI software pack to help with everyday tasks and improve the device. Color options are expected to be black, grey, blue, and orange. No information about its retail availability or price has been released by TECNO yet.
