A new version of the Asus Zenbook 14 Air has debuted with AMD silicon. Powered by a 6 core Ryzen AI 7 processor, the thin laptop maintains a premium OLED screen while promising up to 25 hours of battery life. The updated portable is currently selling in China starting at $1477.
The core of this laptop features the AMD Ryzen AI 7 H 445 chip. Asus packs the system with 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 1 TB of solid state storage. Up front, the 14 inch OLED display supports a resolution of 2880x1800 with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches a peak brightness of 1100 nits and has a rapid 0.2 ms response time. These specifications ensure that creative professionals get accurate color reproduction on the go.
Asus managed to cram a massive 77 Wh battery into a chassis measuring only 11 millimeters thick. This power cell keeps the system running for up to 25 hours depending on your workload. If you run out of power, the fast charging system replenishes 60% of the capacity in 49 minutes. This thin profile makes the computer highly portable without sacrificing overall longevity.
Physical connections include 2 USB C ports, 1 USB A port, HDMI 2.1, and an audio jack. Wireless speeds hold steady thanks to an integrated Wi Fi 7 card. On the audio side, 4 speakers support Dolby Atmos for fuller sound. This port selection provides ample options for external hardware, meaning you can leave your adapters at home.
The updated model is currently limited to the Chinese market. It carries a retail price of $1477. Asus has not yet confirmed the details regarding a global release schedule.
