The development studio Eschatology Entertainment has revealed its first person action game Guns of Eschaton where shooter gameplay is married to a gritty western backdrop. The artistic identity of the game is a vital aspect as it was designed from the outset by the popular art director Viktor Antonov known for his work on Half Life 2 and Dishonored. Antonov dark tonalities shaped the visual aesthetic of this new frontier.
As stated in the product description on Steam Guns of Eschaton is a souls like shooter set in a monstrous Wild West. The protagonist is a human who must take on hordes of strange demonic entities on the journey back to the home realm. This experience is designed as both a single player journey and a multiplayer co op adventure.
