Lenovo has launched the Legion 27 1R, an affordable gaming monitor built for fast competitive play. The display packs a 280 Hz refresh rate and a 1 millisecond response time into a budget price tag. Currently retailing in China for around 118 dollars, there is no word yet on a global release.
This monitor features a 1080p IPS panel that supports standard HDR10 with a peak brightness of 400 nits. Gamers playing fast action shooters will benefit from the AdaptiveSync technology which prevents screen tearing during intense battles. For connectivity, the rear of the panel houses 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4 connection, and a 3.5 millimeter audio jack for wired headphones.
The included stand offers full adjustability, allowing users to alter the height, tilt, and swivel angles for comfortable viewing. If you prefer to mount the screen on an arm, the cabinet supports VESA 100x100 mounting plates. This flexibility makes the screen easy to integrate into existing desk setups without requiring expensive adapters.
According to product listings in China, the Legion 27 1R is priced at 799 Yuan, which converts to roughly 118 US dollars. This pricing makes it one of the most competitive high refresh monitors currently available on the market.
