OnePlus has released official teaser images showing the design of the upcoming N6x smartphone. The new model features flat side rails and a vertically stacked capsule camera array, departing from the square module of the standard N6. But the hardware specifications and launch details remain limited to the Indian market for now.
The promotional images from OnePlus show a clear design shift. Unlike the standard N6, this version has a flat back panel and straight edges. The capsule shaped camera block sits in the top left corner, while the flash is placed separately on the back. It also includes a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, a feature that was missing on the previous model.
OnePlus is offering the device in 2 colors, showing off a light blue and a dark burgundy option. Right now, the company has not shared any details regarding the processor, battery capacity, or camera sensors. It is still unclear if the N6x will be a cheaper or more premium option compared to the standard N6.
The official debut is scheduled for next week. At launch, the device will be exclusive to India, with no word yet on a global release. Local buyers will have to wait for the official presentation to see if the internal specs match the updated exterior.
