Vivo has launched the X300 E, a new addition to its premium smartphone lineup. The device fits a massive 7200 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip into a body that measures just 7.79 millimeters thick. It is scheduled to hit shelves in China this Friday starting at 709 dollars.
Up front, the smartphone carries a 6.59 inch AMOLED screen with a sharp resolution of 2750x1260 pixels and a fast 144 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Snapdragon silicon is backed by 12 GB of LPDDR5X memory. Buyers can choose between 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.1 flash storage. This setup runs the new Android 16 platform with the OriginOS 6 software interface out of the box.
The back of the chassis features a square camera array carrying the Zeiss branding. It houses a 50 megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor with optical image stabilization alongside an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens. For zooming, Vivo included a 50 megapixel periscope lens that uses a Sony IMX882 sensor with optical stabilization. On the front, a 50 megapixel camera handles video calls and supports 4K video recording.
The standout feature is easily the battery capacity. Despite the thin frame, the phone holds a 7200 mAh battery that charges at 90W through a wired connection. Other connectivity options include Wi Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, an infrared transmitter, and NFC. Vivo is selling the device in black, white, and orange color options, with the top tier 512 GB storage model priced at 782 dollars.
